In this study, it was aimed to determine the effectiveness of transabdominal ultrasonographic imaging on 35th day pregnancy in determining status and number fetuses sheep. 69 Awassi sheep were used study. Sheep mated after oestrus synchronization during breeding season. On 50th days mating, a examination performed twice transabdominally each animal by ultrasonography. with single/multiple offspring noted according performing 35 lambing record. According ultrasonography results, early foetal death rate determined as 6.1%. Sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative value ratios for findings data 91.30%, 100%, 83.3% 38.46%, 81.25%, 76.92%, 44.82%, respectively. While consistency 50 high agreement (Kappa=0.864, p<0,001), at birth low (Kappa=0,170, p>0.05). The rates correct diagnosis found 93.93% 54.76%, Finally, can be concluded that diagnose is highly effective determination pregnant sheep, recurrent may useful detecting deaths. order fetuses, repeated examinations should following pregnancy.
